WHY APPLE SKIN?

When we decided to embark on this adventure a few months ago, we knew what kind of products we wanted to bring to the market, but the most important thing was that we wanted something more. We wanted to tell something as a brand, not just sell products and that's it. No, this is not our philosophy.

Like any company that starts, first of all we had to investigate the competition, the target audience, which were the best materials to offer our customers from day one a product of the highest quality. We didn't want to use animal skin, we wanted to leave our ecological footprint and that's why we started looking for alternatives. A friend of ours discovered salmon skin, and although it was a different concept to traditional leather, it still came from an animal. So we discarded it right away.

Then it was the turn of the leatherette. There we hesitated, because it is true that no longer comes from the animal, but in the end it is still plastic and, to be honest, it did not differentiate us from the rest. So it was discarded.

We were running out of possibilities and ideas. Until after days of research and talking to many people we discovered apple skin. When we saw it for the first time we asked ourselves the same question you probably have asked yourselves: Apple skin? We immediately arranged a meeting to go to Italy to see this revolutionary and innovative material, to see with our own eyes if we could adapt this material to our designs. And we have to tell you that it was love at first sight. The material was just what we were looking for. With a particularly nice texture, resistant, high quality and best of all: Made with waste apples and recycled materials. At that moment we knew that this was just what we wanted for our brand.

And that's how our products began to take shape. There are many beautiful designs, but in an oversaturated industry, the heart of the brand and what it wants to offer is more important than the product itself. Hence our motto:

Being classy is a choice. Respecting the environment is a must.
